New Features
Timesheets on Hold
Pay and Bill v2 now includes the ability to place timesheets on hold for payroll and/or invoicing processing. This gives payroll teams greater control over which timesheets are included in each processing run, reducing the risk of errors and improving workflow flexibility.

Bulk Hold and Unhold - Timesheet Search Page
The Timesheet Search page has been enhanced with new columns and row selection capabilities to support bulk hold and unhold actions.
New display columns:
Linked to Payslip - indicates whether the timesheet is linked to a payslip.
Linked to Invoice - indicates whether the timesheet is linked to an invoice.
Held From Payroll - shows whether the timesheet is currently on hold from payroll processing.
Held From Invoicing - shows whether the timesheet is currently on hold from invoicing processing.
Matched to Purchase Invoice - indicates whether the timesheet has been matched to a purchase invoice.
Row selection:
A checkbox has been added to each row in the Timesheet Search results, allowing users to select one or more timesheets. Once a selection is made, the Actions button becomes available to apply bulk hold or unhold operations across all selected timesheets.
Available bulk actions:
Hold From Payroll - places selected timesheets on hold from payroll processing.
Hold From Invoicing places selected timesheets on hold from invoicing processing.
Remove Hold From Payroll - removes the payroll hold from selected timesheets.
Remove Hold From Invoicing - removes the invoicing hold from selected timesheets.
Individual Timesheet Hold
On an individual Timesheet page, users can now place a timesheet on hold or remove a hold for payroll and/or invoicing directly from the timesheet record. This provides granular control at the individual timesheet level.
Navigation: Data Entry ; Timesheets ; [Select Timesheet]
Dynamic Hold Button Labels
The hold buttons on an individual Timesheet page update their labels dynamically based on the current hold status of the timesheet:
When the timesheet is not on hold, the buttons display as Hold From Payroll and Hold From Invoicing.
When the timesheet is on hold from payroll, the payroll button label changes to Remove Hold From Payroll.
When the timesheet is on hold from invoicing, the invoicing button label changes to Remove Hold From Invoicing.
This means each button always reflects the action that will be taken, giving users a clear and unambiguous indication of the current hold state and the action available to them.
Timesheet Architecture Improvements
The Timesheet page have been rewritten into the new Pay and Bill v2 architecture. Users will benefit from improved performance, improved stability, and faster load times across timesheet-related screens, including timesheet creation and adjustment workflows.

Pay and Bill V2 Fixes
As part of our commitment to keeping Pay and Bill 2.0 secure and reliable, we continuously review and update the third-party components used within the application. This release includes a number of security patches that address known vulnerabilities in underlying software libraries. These updates happen behind the scenes and do not affect how you use the application, but they ensure that your data and systems remain protected to the highest standards. We will continue to apply these updates as part of every release to maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
2372444 – Worker Country - Saved Incorrectly
We have fixed an issue where the country field on a worker record was saving the country name instead of the country code. This could cause data inconsistencies when records were viewed in PAB Core or used in downstream processes.
2352465 – Assignments - Consultant Split - unable to change division / department
We have resolved an issue where users were unable to change the Division or Department on a Consultant Split line. Users can now update these fields as expected.
2363018 – Assignments - Rate Code expiry date
We have fixed an issue where the system incorrectly required an expiry date when adding a rate to an assignment. An expiry date is optional, consistent with PAB Core behaviour.
2363030 – Assignments - Include in Gross Profit
We have corrected the default value of the Include in Gross Profit Report field when creating a new assignment. This field now defaults to on, consistent with PAB Core behaviour.
2363041 – Assignment - Report to Client / Invoice To client
We have fixed an issue where the Report to Client and Invoice to Client fields were not being automatically populated when creating a new assignment. These fields now auto-populate when a client is selected.
2352461 – Assignments - Consultant Splits - Equal Split Percentages
We have made the Consultant Splits toggle by default to off when Consultant Splits section loads.
2265124– Adhoc Expiry Date not saved when adding a new Adhoc entry on Assignment
We have resolved an issue where an Expiry Date entered when adding a new Adhoc rate entry on an Assignment was not being saved. The date is now correctly persisted after saving.
2313528– HMRC Remittance Report menu item visible on core versions that don't support it
We have fixed an issue where the HMRC Remittance Report menu item was visible to users on PAB Core versions that do not support it, resulting in a permissions error when accessed. The menu item now only appears for users on the required minimum Core version.
2319619 – Clients: Invoice settings fields should be populated automatically when adding a new client
We have resolved an issue where the Report to Client, Invoice to Client, and Legal Hirer fields in the Invoice Settings card were not being automatically populated when adding a new client. These fields now populate correctly with the new client reference.
1422005 – Automation status is not being refreshed automatically
We have fixed an issue where the automation status displayed in the top-right corner of the screen was not updating automatically when a job was running. The status now refreshes in real time without requiring the user to manually refresh or click.
